The rebirth vase is a one-of-a kind vessel slowly handcrafted using coiling and sculpting techniques to achieve this beautiful organic form. The outside was textured with wave-like strokes and left unglaze to highlight the beauty of raw clay.
The vase seeks to convey the calmness of the sea waves and serve as a reminder to never be afraid of start over.
This piece is glazed and can hold water but due to the lower firing temperature it is better suitable on the long term for dry flowers/standing on its own as a sculptural vessel.
Due to the entirely handcrafted nature of this object there could be minor imperfections but the artist embraces these as it only adds to the story and character of the object.
