Blue Moon Minis is a handcrafted ceramic sculpture by Simon Holpert, created in 2021 as part of his evocative Blue Moon series. Made in Budapest and fired in a gas kiln at high temperatures (1260–1280°C), this one-of-a-kind piece features soft, organic curves and a rich blue glaze that symbolizes both vulnerability and rare emotional connection. Inspired by the poetic notion of love that comes “once in a blue moon,” the sculpture captures the essence of touch, freedom, and reciprocity. Presented by Gallery Contai, this collectible artwork is a tribute to honest emotion and the beauty of imperfection.
